About Black Cat Media
I’m Natasha (Tash) Fernandez, owner and operator of Black Cat Media, based in Melbourne, Australia.
I help service‑based small businesses get consistent, professional video content without the stress. My focus is on making the whole process simple, supportive, and genuinely useful for your business.
Hi, I’m Tash.

My path to running a video business wasn't a straight line.
I used to be a registered nurse. Nursing taught me how to listen, care for people and stay calm under pressure. After a few major life events, I began to rethink my career. That time became a turning point. I stepped away from nursing and rediscovered my passion for media production.
Making videos is fun for me. It's my creative outlet, and I'd honestly rather film other people than be in front of the camera myself. Over the past year, I've thrown myself into the business world, building Black Cat Media slowly and with intention. I get to work with passionate, like-minded people, and I've found a level of hard work and responsibility in myself that I never knew I had.
Running a business has been the biggest personal growth of my life, and I like who it has made me. I love telling stories, I'm excited about what's ahead, and I want small business owners to succeed.

I believe small business success is necessary for thriving communities. When local businesses grow, the whole area benefits - more jobs, more connection, more resilience.
Black Cat Media exists to make it easier for service‑based businesses to be seen and heard online. Professional content shouldn’t be complicated or time‑consuming. I handle the creation and posting so you can focus on what you do best.

I’m kind, empathetic, and approachable. That shows up in how I run this business.
I offer a personalised service, tailored to your business and your goals.
I bring a care‑focused approach – part of that comes from my background in nursing and my genuine desire to help people.
I have a unique perspective from a divergent background, which helps me see your business differently and tell your story in a way that feels authentic.
I’m also a musician and coach, so if you’re nervous on camera, I can offer confidence coaching to help you feel more comfortable and natural in front of it.
My style is practical and clear. We’ll figure out what content actually serves your business and make a plan that fits your time and energy.
